It was a great experience conducting a training on LEED for some staff of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board [NCDMB].
Training in LEED Operations and Maintenance for staff of The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) between June 10th - 15th- 2024.
It was so nice to see some of the people we trained in The LEED Green Associate level returning and with new people also joining this training.
We were even more glad to receive the news that some have taken the exams have passed at the first attempt which goes to prove that our assertion of passing the exam with us is correct.
The LEED AP EBOM credential denotes professional knowledge of requirements and skills for obtaining a LEED O+M certification. The training was tailored along the same line as the LEED Green Associate course and the participants were taught all the nuances of the LEED EBOM credential.
We were also impressed with the level of assimilation of the new participants in our training who demonstrated a good grasp of the principles of sustainability through our training mode which always references the foundational issues of the LEED green associate course.
Using a combination of digital media, quizzes, tests /assessments, and access to quality resources, we are confident that the participants received world-class training and they will perform well in the field.
The eight knowledge domains covered in this training are:
1. LEED Process
2. Integrative Strategies
3. Location and Transportation
4. Sustainable Sites
5. Water Efficiency
6. Energy and Atmosphere
7. Materials and Resources
8. Indoor Environmental Quality
We were also able to show the participants the synergies between all these domains, innovation and design, and regional priority considerations.
